Comments: The final configuration now differs from this description, as does the key site. Need to update the relevant areas as applicable. 1. The temperature sensor no longer requires modification since the ARSR-4 will continue to monitor. 2. Should ultimately provide all of the configuration parameter changes that need to be adapted on the ARSR-4. This would include the beacon correlation window parameters under 5.4.2 3.It might benefit reviewers to list which signal the ARSR-4 and the ATCBI-6M each will be monitoring. For further information contact Andrew Leone ATO-P/(ACB-530) at 609-485-5578
Technical Impact:
(Carmouche, Mark (ATO-W))@02/09/2006 17:49:27 PM:
The following resolution is a result of a conversation between Mr. Wright of ATO-W and Mr. Leone of ATO-P on 02-09-2006: 1. ATO-W (AOS-230) will update the key sites to the final configuration of the modification. Attachment 2 has been updated to reflect the final configuration of the modification. Refer to attachment 4 for the revised configuation. 2. The description of the change to the temperature sensor will be removed from 22 (b) as per the discussion. See attachment 5. 3. ATO-W will provide configuration parameter changes to the ARSR-4 in the SSM as per the discussion. 4. ATO-W will provide, via e-mail, the signal names that go to the ARSR-4 and ATCBI-6M as per the discussion.

Addendum 1/1
Case File 1, Box 22A: The ARSR-4 mode-4 vault requires two modifications to make it compatible with the ATCBI-6M. First, a KIR-present line must be added to the wiring harness. Second, the existing temperature sensors must be replaced with a temperature switch. Also, the ATCBI-6M requires one first-function and one second-function CD-2 data input from the ARSR-4.
Case File 1, Box 22B: The modifications to the ARSR-4 are four fold. First, two wires will be added to the mode-4 vault wiring harness for the KIR-present signals required by the ATCBI-6M. Refer to attachment 1 for these wires. Second, the two existing vault temperature sensors will be replaced with a Klixon 4344-184 series thermostat. Refer to TI6340.38, figure 11-3 for the location of this part. Third, a new cable (W52A) will be added to connect the ARSR-4, mode-4 vault, and ATCBI-6M together. Refer to attachment 2 for the wiring of this cable. Fourth, two new users will be programmed into the ARSR-4 to send 1st and 2nd function search data to the ATCBI-6M. Refer to attachment 3 for the programming of these ports.
Case File 1, Box 22C: The ARSR-4 mode-4 vault will conform to Raytheon document ATCBI-6-TO16-SE13-007, Interface Control Document for the ATCBI-6 to ARSR-4 KIR Vault. The CD-2 search data interface shall conform to Raytheon document ATCBI-6-TO16-SE13-004, Interface Control Document for the ARSR-4 Search Radar Interface.
Case File 1, Box 22F: Mode-4 service shall operate at an ARSR-4 site once the ATCBI-6 is installed. ATCBI-6 shall output reinforced targets and output 1st and 2nd function search to the users. The risk of not doing this modification is to delay ATCBI-6 commissioning.
